entdeckte die Liebe zur Fotografie schon in seiner Jugend. Seither hat sich eine ihm eigene Sichtweise immer wieder fortschreitend entwickelt.
So wurden in Ausstellungen verfremdete Detailansichten oder verwandte Strukturen in Natur und Architektur thematisiert. Eine andere Art von „sightseeing“ präsentiert er schwerpunktmäßig mit Spiegelaufnahmen in Orten, die er erforschte. Er war freier Mitarbeiter eines Kunstverlags und ist nun mit Bildkonzepten einer lokalen Marketing Agentur beschäftigt. Heute fotografiert Bernd Korte vornehmlich digital mit diversen Zoomobjektiven, schätzt aber auch insbesondere im sw-Bereich die Ausdrucksstärke analoger Fotografie.

has already been fascinated by photography in his youth. His individual way of looking at things around him has continuously developed since then. His exhibitions revealed unfamiliar aspects of everyday details, showed relations of structures in nature and architecture or presented a new kind of sightseeing by urban reflections of places he went exploring.
He has been active with a publisher’s and now carries out commisions of a local marketing agency.
Today Bernd Korte uses different zoom lenses in digital photography and works on photo application-oriented programs , but also appreciates the impressive message of monochrome pictures in the analogue area.
